Flop-eared Bunny Crochet Pattern

This bunny pattern is the fourth adaptation of a pattern that I first started making in 2011. I have three composition books full of every crochet pattern that I have ever written ((with scratchy notes all over the margins of updates and changes)), and the original bunny pattern is from the first book which is dated 2010 - that is when I first started understanding crochet enough to make up the patterns myself. Out of all the animal patterns, the bunny has changed the most throughout the years - making it bigger, smaller, fatter, and (most recently) different, more lacy ears. I have made these different bunnies for many baby gifts, and people love them. I hope you enjoy making and gifting them as much as I do. Happy Stitching!

Here are some helpful videos to go along with the pattern.

watch me crochet the bunny ear. (I sped up the video because it was incredibly long)

watch the assembly magic

watch me stitch a sleepy bunny face

ps…I am always happy to answer any questions about any pattern I have posted. Please let me know if something is confusing, and I will gladly walk you through it.

I also love seeing photos of your work! Post progress photos and show off your finished project on Instagram & Facebook, tag us @mapleandorange, and use the hashtag #MOstitchesintheworld.
